Looking for spectacular ocean and mountain views, tranquility and luxurious comfort? Then you've found it all in this beautiful ocean front home on a half acre, half way between Courtenay and Campbell River on Vancouver Island.

The Georgia Strait and Coastal Mountain views are the stars that soothe the soul but supporting acts include Bald Eagles hunting and feeding atop the waterfront trees, Herons fishing on the beach, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, deer and so much more. There is a private water side deck with patio furniture and a propane fire table, sun deck with a BBQ and a patio set at the front of the house, an oceanfront fire pit when seasonally allowed, a small boat ramp and beach access. The landscaping is mature, natural and lovely. The beach at the property is a rock beach but the sandy beach is easily accessed by walking 5 to 10 minutes along the water's edge to Miracle Beach Provincial Park.

The 2 story home is very private and in a quiet residential area. The main floor living, dining, kitchen area is an open concept design in order to maximize the views. There are hardwood floors and heated tiles throughout the main floor and upgraded stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops throughout. The living area has a new wood stove, surrounded by natural Vancouver Island stone and cedar. Above the fireplace is a flat screen TV with a top of the line 7.1 surround sound audio system with iPod docking station. A separate games room with Foosball table, video games, and movies. The main bedroom offers its guest a large bathroom with a large walk in shower that has a multi-head shower system for two. There are also full laundry facilities and a guest bath with shower stall on this floor. All three bedrooms have beautiful views. Upstairs you will find carpet and heated tile. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which features a 4 piece bath that includes a tub and shower with an air massage system to wash away any lingering troubles. There is also an office area upstairs with wireless internet access that can also be accessed throughout the rest of the house. The kids will also love the secret play areas under the eaves in their twin bedroom. They may also like the TV and video game console for rainy days or when the adults want some quiet time to themselves. There is a selection of outdoor and indoor games, books, magazines, videos and music, as well as some local tourism brochures.

The Saratoga and Miracle Beach area is very popular with families. Amenities available within 10 minutes or less include The Saratoga Speedway, mini golf, a par 3 golf course, ice cream stand, post office, 2 grocery stores, liquor store, video store, pizza and coffee shop, art gallery, medical clinic, gas station, hardware store, kayaking tours, horseback riding, Miracle Beach Provincial Park with a sandy beach, nature house and amphitheatre is a 10 minute walk, Seaview Farms a working farm open to the public and offering tours, Saratoga Beach Marina and Resort, boating and fishing charters, and a restaurant and pub at the Salmon Point Resort.

The property is approximately a 2 hour drive from Nanaimo or 3 hours from Victoria. 20 minutes driving time from the larger communities of the Comox Valley and Campbell River, both of which each have a hospital, movie theatres, golf courses, restaurants and stores. Mount Washington Ski and Hiking Resort is also approximately 20 minutes away.

Please note that term rates apply for the summer peak season period only unless booking within 21 nights of arrival. Nightly rates will vary dependent on the term rate value and the length of stay required. Term periods run from Saturday to Saturday.

PAYMENTS REQUIRED
The first payment is a deposit of 50% of the accommodation total plus applicable taxes due at time of booking. The balance is due 45 days prior to occupancy. Damage deposits are a pre-authorized hold on your credit card and are collected only if deemed necessary.
